Description

See how U.S. history and French revolution connects with this fascinating experience. I will take you where the horrors of the French revolution meet with an heroic figure of the U.S. war of independence, all deeply rooted here in Paris. In a homey neighborhood, away from the mainstream places, you'll visit a confidential cove yet bearing a huge historical heritage.

The guillotine, gruesome accessory of a major episode of the French revolution known as “the Terror”, not only played its creaky song at Concorde square. As a mobile device, its blade chopped off thousands of heads in other Parisian neighborhoods. This is is where we’ll start. You'll follow its bloody trail to the eeriest place ever! where French and American History meetup. After a short informative walk, the graal will be a fairly sized private estate with a countryside feel to it (chickens pecking around!) sheltering a small yet impressive old cemetery. Only families of the wealthy nobility whose kin have been beheaded during the French revolution are allowed to rest under their emblazoned graves. Among them you will see the tomb of heroic marquis of Lafayette, general of the U.S. war of Independence, whose deeds helped and influenced America's destiny.
Amidst the strangeness of the place and the eeriness of the situation, you’ll realize how close and connected we are to our common past. More than a History course, you will truly have a meaningful experience. Oddly enough, you’ll come out of it with an uplifting wow sense of awe and peacefulness! Promise to goodness :-)
