Spend 7 hours of your day enjoying France’s most famous treasures: art and wine. Start your day in the company of the Mona Lisa and her world famous friends. Skip the long lines and embark on a journey through the world’s largest museum- the Louvre, in the company of an expert and fully accredited local guide. Then experience a tour of a historic 18th century wine cellar, transformed into a spectacular interactive wine experience. Your visit will include a tasting of 3 wines that have been carefully selected for you by the in-house sommelier. Then it’s time to head across the city to Montmartre, to one of the best-kept secrets in the city. Visit a beautiful working vineyard closed to the public, taste its wine and learn about the fascinating history of the famous artists quarter. Small-group tour capacity is kept at 15 guests or below. Hotel pickup and drop-off is not included: you will meet at a central location, however transport between attractions is included.

Meet your expert local guide and relax as they lead you past the famously long lines and directly into the museum for a 2.5 hour guided visit. You will of course meet the world’s most famous painting, the Mona Lisa, and learn some of her many secrets. Discover also the beautiful Venus de Milo and the spectacular Winged Victory. There are also many other hidden treasures to be found in the Louvre. Your guide will show you crowns studded with precious jewels, ancient Egyptian antiquities, sublime Greek statues and much more.

The Louvre was once a palace, home to the French royal family, and you will visit magnificent rooms whose sumptuous decorations bear witness to this; rooms built for Kings. End your visit in the lavish apartments of Napoleon III, often overlooked by visitors and yet one of the most breathtaking parts of the museum. Make the most of this extraordinary museum, join the tour and let your guides make your visit one of the highlights of your trip to Paris.

After lunch (at your own expense) it’s a short walk to your next visit - an incredible vaulted wine cellar that once housed King Louis XV’s wine collection. Today these cellars have been restored and transformed into an incredible space where you can discover the tradition and craft of winemaking in France. Your expert guide will lead you through the rooms dedicated to learning about the cultivation of the grapes, the winemaking process and the smells, tastes and colors you will recognize as you taste wines. Your visit includes a tasting of 3 wines that have been selected for you by the sommeliers.

Your guide will lead you on to your next stop - a tiny and beautiful working vineyard in the heart of Montmartre. You will travel here by metro, as typical Parisians would. On the way you will stroll through the most Parisian of parks, the Tuileries, before heading for the lively and historical artist’s quarter of Montmartre.

The presence of vines in Montmartre goes back to Roman times, making this the oldest vineyard in Paris. In the 18th century Montmartre was outside of the city of Paris, and so not subject to its taxes, making the wine and rents cheap, and so attracting the artists, dance halls and cabarets that the area became so famous for. Your guide will lead you on a walking tour around this captivating area, regaling you with stories of the lives of the artists and famous residents who once called Montmartre home. This tour also gives you VIP entry to the Clos Montmartre vineyard, closed to the general public and only opened for a special few. Take a tour of this charming vineyard, and end your tour with a tasting of their hard to come by wine.

At the end of your tour you are free to spend your evening in Montmartre, perhaps on the artists square at Place du Tertre, or in one of the typical bars or restaurants in the area. Your guide will be happy to make recommendations to ensure you spend a perfect Parisian evening.
